Art, culture and music at the finissage

“CRAZY COLORS” leave a lasting impression

With the artist Mathias Rößler from Weimar, the Förderverein presented exceptional art in the ANNELIESE DESCHAUER Gallery, as he uses techniques that leave a lasting impression. The current special exhibition came to a festive close on June 2, 2024.

The artist had traveled from Weimar to personally guide visitors through the exhibition once again and inform them about his experimental painting techniques.

In keeping with Rößler’s experimental paintings, there was a reading by SPIEGEL bestselling author Asuka Lionera. Born in Thuringia in 1987, the author of romantic fantasy literature became famous with the novel “Frozen Crowns 1 – A Kiss of Ice and Snow”. She has already published numerous novels and immerses her readers in magical worlds.

The reading was musically framed by guitar music from Andrea Rößler.
The guests at the finissage took the opportunity to ask the artist and the author questions.
The emotional impressions of the festive vernissage could be experienced once again in a video film.
The members of the support association had invited guests to a cozy finale with a small snack and homemade cake.

Finally, Dagmar Nicklich, 2nd Chairwoman of the Friends’ Association, gave an outlook on the next event and invited guests to the vernissage of the school art exhibition on 12.06.2024 in the ANNELIESE DESCHAUER Gallery.
On behalf of the mayor Manuela Henkel, Simone Kleinstück, first deputy of the town of Geisa, thanked the artist Mathias Rößler for the exhibition of his paintings in Geisa. Association chair Doris Heim invited interested parties to a workshop with Mathias Rößler on 28. and June 29, 2024 in the gallery’s studio.
