Children practiced as textile designers

An interesting course offered the promotion association art, culture and science Geisa registered association for children in the summer vacations in the studio of the ANNELIESE DESCHAUER gallery.

On three afternoons, children from 7 to 12 years old could work with fabrics and other materials in the fully booked course. It was about designing, creating, stenciling, leading and developing. Under expert guidance, each child was then able to create the result they had designed themselves. The budding textile designers were extremely creative and designed their projects according to their own ideas.

A big thank you goes to the two volunteer course instructors, vocational teacher Beate Sennhenn and remedial teacher Sabine Eisemann.

At the end, the children proudly presented their work to members of the sponsoring association and chairwoman Doris Heim.
